MartinYau.org is a blog that aims to provide analysis of stocks for the average reader.
I am an aspiring equity analyst whose interest in the financial markets began during the uncertainty surrounding the 2003 Gulf War while studying Economics and Business at college. I began investing in the stock market after leaving college.
I have developed the investment knowledge, analytical and research skills while managing portfolios and conducting due diligence on investment opportunities.
I have completed professional qualifications and courses within investment management, and actively attend conferences, seminars and workshops related to industry to continuously sharpen my knowledge.
Equity analysis are often difficult to read and difficult to understand to the average reader.
I will try to provide analysis that will be succinct and easy to understand.
I will try to analyse the shares by using:
- Excel to build financial models to conduct my own analysis based on reasonable assumptions.
- Reasonable assumptions based on average industry and macroeconomic sources.
- PowerPoint to tell a simple story about the stock.
MartinYau.org aims to be stock analysis blog that is easy to understand for the average reader.
